Abalone Shell Intergalactic Earrings, sustainable baddie, repurposing scrap clay

One night while cleaning my workstation, I had a pile of scrap clay to flatten and put away for later. As I was mixing this ball of black, white and neon yellow clay, the neon clay made a aurora borealis style streak in the clay and the black and white meshed into grey.
It looked so otherworldly that I decided to let my brain go wild, I had no plan whatsoever for these. I decided I wanted to use these landscape cutters that I never used before and created a sort of raised stairway with that. I used a teardrop cutter to cut peekaboo holes into it for interest. Then I took some abalone shell pieces I have been dying to play with and embedded it randomly into the clay. I glossed it all to secure it.
Stunning and one of a kind.
Hardware: stainless steel. Lead and Nickel free like all of my jewelry.
